The Cilento is a land of small towns: stone villages perched on the hills, castles, old churches and little squares where time moves more slowly. Many are just minutes apart and can be combined in a single day.
Ca' del Borgo is in one of them, Ogliastro Cilento. Here are the ones we recommend, from the closest to full day trips. Times are by car, from Ogliastro.

About 1 hr 15 min
A village abandoned in the early 1900s and left just as it was: the square with its fountain, the church, the stone houses. A place frozen in time, in the heart of the Alburni mountains.
About 1 hr 15 min
One of the largest charterhouses in Europe and a UNESCO site: the great cloister, the library, the spiral staircase. Combine it with a stop in the Vallo di Diano.
Francesco's tip
If you're staying a few days, Francesco recommends three stops: the temples of Paestum, the village of Castellabate with its sea, and Acciaroli. The evening before you arrive he sends you the places to visit and his favourite restaurants on WhatsApp.
